Frequently asked questions

Should I call to make an appointment before coming in?

Walk-ins are always welcome at Zima Medical. Calling us before your visit is helpful as our staff can prepare your paperwork and set up a time for you. You can also set up an appointment online by visiting this link: Set Appointment

Is it expensive to come into your office?

Not at all! Most times, seeing us is less than the cost of 1 month of cell phone service. Ask about our low-cost monthly membership programs.

How should I pay for your services?

We work with almost all major PPO insurances and we also accept all major credit cards, cash, and personal checks. You may be responsible for an insurance co-pay, which you can pay with cash, credit card, or personal check. We also take out of pocket and monthly membership subscription services to help you maintain your health.

What is the usual wait time at Zima Medical?

Wait times are generally very short. Unlike an ER, where wait times can be 4 hours or more, Zima Medical Internal Medicine Clinic will typically see a patient within 20 minutes of their check-in. Many times the wait time is even shorter than 20 minutes, and we have won awards for our short wait times.
